Crazed Nympho Cyborg - mountain bike up date

I'm back from holiday in the lakes and had a fantastic time though it was hard work. Got there wednesday and decided to go on a six mile route up loughrigg tarn. bloody hell the beginning was really steep and I ended up walking due to gears not changing in time and me nearly falling off. The downhill part was fantastic, really rocky and slippy but great fun, would have been better if there were no walkers, couldn't really just let go and fly down there. Kel decided the bike wanted water and went for a ride through the lake.

Thursday was troutbeck, or surposed to be but the map was shit and for an easy route the path was unpassable by bike, even for Kel. We gave up after I had stolen his new toy due to the gears on mine being shit. We headed for another path but got lost somewhere on the rode. Looked at map and realised the route we had taken was classed as hard and the quickest way to get back on the right route was to leave the road and head off down the hard route but boy did I enjoy this, mainly downhill section that was great. Followed the path down the top part of windermere and then ferry across lake. Another 5 mile ride up hill to the B&B. In all did about 15 miles but it was so much fun, especially as I got to ride the better bike.

Glad to say to cuts, juts couple of bruises from one fall off the whole time. Even Kel managed to stay on the whole time!! Right off to pick up doggy from the parents.
